Our client is seeking a Paralegal for its Portland, Maine office. This firm advises clients across the U.S. and around the world. Their 100+ award-winning attorneys and professionals practice in more than 20 critical areas and a variety of industries.

• The Business Restructuring and Insolvency Paralegal plays a vital role in supporting attorneys and fellow paralegals within the Business Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group at the firm. This position involves managing assigned cases from inception to closure, including monitoring court dockets, handling e-filing for U.S. Bankruptcy and District Courts, and coordinating document service in compliance with local and federal rules.
• The ideal candidate will prepare drafts of legal documents, manage deposition materials, and perform thorough document analysis, while leveraging strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, and familiarity with bankruptcy processes are preferred, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-discovery, and Bluebook citation.
• Successful candidates will demonstrate accountability, effective decision-making, and strong communication skills in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
