Join us and find out for yourself why Martin's Point has been certified as a "Great Place to Work" since 2015.## Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician Team Lead serves as a subject matter expert and partners with the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and Pharmacy Manager by supporting the operations of the mail order pharmacy. He/she helps motivate the Pharmacy Technicians assigned to call center, processing, dispensing, and shipping roles to provide exceptional service to USFHP members while keeping the member’s best interest in mind.

The Team Lead partners with the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in quality control and proper training programs. He/she assists in collecting essential data to monitor overall performance and meet Martin’s Point turnaround time service standards.##

Job Description
** Key Outcomes:
*** Provides subject matter expertise to Pharmacy Technicians for the USFHP benefit plan.
* Provides support to assigned areas of the pharmacy to ensure operational metrics and quality standards (e.g., accuracy & service) are met.
* Provides data reporting service quality using in-house systems technology.
* Monitors the Mail Order Pharmacy data base queues to ensure adherence to Martin’s Point standards of service.
* Supports technician education and retention efforts by addressing plan-related questions and concerns.
* Initiates service recovery techniques when warranted.
* Collects feedback from staff for process related opportunities for improvement.
* Represents the Mail Order Pharmacy Technician team on interdepartmental committees and work groups.
* Participates in projects and departmental process improvement initiatives as assigned.
* Develops and posts the daily schedule for the call center and production stations.
* Monitors processing stations to ensure daily metric goals are being met or exceeded and adjusts workflow accordingly.
* Reports feedback to Pharmacy Technician Supervisor what is working well and opportunities for improvement with processes and staff.
* Communicates throughout the day with Production Team Lead to ensure all areas in the department are operating effectively and there are no bottle necks.
* Initiates, tracks, and processes prescription prior authorizations for USFHP members.
* Processes override requests for members to fill at a local pharmacy.
* Performs pharmacy technician duties as required.
** Education/

Experience:

*** High School Diploma or GED
* 4 years pharmacy technician experience in a high-volume pharmacy.
* Experience in a Mail Order pharmacy setting is preferred.
* Must have a current, active Pharmacy Technician License in Maine.
* Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
