Summary:
The Dietetic Technician role assists with the nutrition intervention of patients on assigned patient care units. Responsible for performing nutritional screening, implementing and monitoring compliance to care plans, educating patients and their families, and communicating with interdisciplinary team members.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Associate's Degree in Dietetic Technician or acceptable college level training in Nutrition required. American Dietetic Association accredited program preferred.
Certifications:
Licensure by the State of Maine is required.

Must possess a basic understanding of the metric system.
