Experienced Surgical Technologists are eligible for up to a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus with CVOR experience!

Experienced CST eligible for $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

New Grads are eligible for a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

Eligible bonus candidates are Certified Surgical Technologists.

New graduates and previous MMC and Maine Health employees with more than 3 months of separation are eligible. Current MMC and Maine Health employees are not eligible.

Relocation for approved offers

The Surgical Technologist role is involved in preparing the operating room and instruments, equipment and supplies as well as passing instruments, sponges, and sutures to surgeons.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology required.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within six months of start date or at the discretion of leadership for positions tification preferred rent BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience:

    Experience as a Surgical Technologist or a minimum of six months in a scrub role in the academic or clinical setting preferred.
