What You’ll Do:- Prepare and set up for scheduled procedures with the necessary instrumentation and implants
- Assist surgeons at the sterile field, anticipating needs and ensuring seamless workflows
- Support circulator staff and help maintain a safe, patient-focused environment
- Follow strict aseptic technique and uphold surgical standards in accordance with AORN guidelines
- Participate in time-out procedures and intraoperative safety checks
- Position patients, apply tourniquets, and handle surgical specimens appropriately
- Assist in patient transport and maintain readiness for upcoming cases
- High School diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current CST certification (NBSTSA) and BLS certification required
- Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient OR setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized
- Ability to work independently while excelling as part of a team
