This is a full-time, on-site Loan Officer role located in Portland, ME. The Loan Officer will be responsible for managing loan origination, assisting clients throughout the loan process, assessing loan applications, and collaborating with underwriting teams to ensure the approval and closure of loans. The role also entails providing stellar customer service, building client relationships, and maintaining thorough knowledge of mortgage products and financial guidelines to support customers' financial needs.
Qualifications- Experience as a Loan Officer and expertise in Loan Origination
- Knowledge of Finance and Underwriting processes
- Strong Customer Service and client relationship management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal mortgage regulations
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology related to mortgage processing
- Prior experience in the mortgage or financial industry is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business Administration, or Economics is preferred
