Level II RT Technician

Position Summary:

Aegeus Inspection Solutions is seeking qualified Project-Based RT Technicians to support client-site inspection work in South Portland, ME. This role involves performing radiographic testing directly at client locations with minimal in-office interaction. Candidates must hold Level II RT certification with film interpretation and have experience working with X-ray tube equipment. This position is project-based and focused on field execution in accordance with applicable standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.

• Operate tools and equipment to accomplish job assignments and meet client requirements.
• Inspect and interpret radiographic readings in real time to identify areas of interest.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications.
• Set up and calibrate all inspection equipment used.
• Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results through formal reports.
• Complete inspection reports in a timely manner in accordance with client, company, and applicable standards.
• Safely operate company vehicles and strictly adhere to company safety regulations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical background in NDT methods and techniques required.
• Minimum of three (3) or more years of NDT experience with full documentation of prior training, experience, and certification.

• NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) with film interpretation required.
• Experience with X-ray tube equipment.
• Dual carded with IRRSP or equivalent.
• UT, PT, or MT Level II certification is a plus.
• Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under the company insurance program.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification required at time of hire.
