Utility Coordination and Design Business Class Director

As part ofspe HDR’s Transportation Business Group, you’ll help shape systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably. This role focuses on the technical delivery of our products and services, positioning HDR as a preferred provider in utility coordination and design.
Responsibilities- Lead monthly coordination calls with Business Class leadership and section managers.
- Support ongoing development of the Utility Coordination and Design Business Class.
- Identify upcoming projects or pursuits that require сообщили support from National Business Class leadership.
- Review upcoming workload and availability of business‑class staff.
- Analyze utilization reports to identify staffing needs and support hiring or work‑share decisions.
- Participate in Project Approach and Resource (PARR) reviews and evaluations.
- Perform project reviews or audits to validate quality practices and address technical or performance issues.
- Serve as focal point for the Transportation Business Group to deliver utility coordination and design services in collaboration with other Business Groups or Market Sectors.
- Assist with hiring, mentoring, and technical development of business‑class staff.
- Participate in marketing activities, supporting project proposals, staffing assignments, and sub‑consultant identification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a professional, architectural, engineering, or closely related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.
- Active professional or engineering registration and related technical experience.
- Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
- Effective collaboration with other business‑class directors, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers.
- Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and HDR values.
- Active participation in HDR’s employee‑owned culture is a must.
Non‑specific geographic location preferred with a significant HDR presence. Estimated travel: 15 % nationally, varying between 15 % and 25 % month بطولة.
