Electrical Engineer, Data Center Experience

Arcadis is a leading global consulting firm delivering sustainable design and engineering solutions. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for multiple concurrent data center projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical discipline for data center projects through proposal, design, and construction phases.
• Serve as engineer of record and mentor other electrical staff on data center electrical design.
• Support proposal and business development efforts and collaborate with project teams, senior and junior engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Develop construction‑ready drawing packages with inter‑discipline coordination.
• Perform system studies (arc flash, load, short circuit, coordination) and design for capacity, redundancy, reliability, efficiency, safety, constructability, and cost.
• Engage in engineering site surveys, system studies, system audits and collaboration with clients’ team members.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and building codes (NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC, UBC, IEC, CE, EN).
• Use design and modelling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Elum Tools, BIM
  360, SKM, ETAP, EDSA, Easy Power).

Required:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of consulting engineering design experience producing IFC drawings for data centers.
• State‑issued professional engineering license preferred.
• Experience with telecom and fire alarm design, prescriptive and performance‑based design.

Preferred:

• Strong knowledge of NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC, UBC, IEC, CE, EN.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Elum Tools, BIM
  360, SKM, ETAP, EDSA, Easy Power.

Competitive salary range: $80,461 – $142,718, full‑time benefits include medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401(k), 401(k) match, lifetime benefits, paid parental leave, and more.
