• Bachelor’s degree in education
• Holds appropriate Maine Department of Education certification
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, parents, community, and school personnel

• St. Thomas School in Sanford, Maine is seeking a passionate Catholic Grade 4 teacher to plan and deliver exceptional instruction to students beginning February 9, 2026.
• The teacher will ensure that all students develop the knowledge, skills, and habits of work and learning to become lifelong learners and productive members of society, steeped in faith.

• Experience with Classical Education, assessment practices, and collaborative learning is preferred.
• The candidate should have experience establishing a positive classroom culture and be willing to contribute to a collaborative, collegial staff environment.
