Pay Rate: $21-$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a small, family-owned printing company. The company specializes in the printing of checks, deposit tickets, and other business forms. This is an onsite role in Portland, ME, offering a collaborative work environment and convenient onsite parking.

The CSR will be part of a close-knit customer service team of five and will play a key role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships by providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
• Enter customer orders accurately into a computerized system
• Provide customers with order status updates, pricing details, shipping information, and tracking numbers
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist the Customer Service Manager in supporting larger or key client accounts
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer interactions and orders

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with email, internet navigation, and Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work with basic office software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Prior customer service or order entry experience preferred
