Area Business Development Manager

Cleaning Services is looking for a driven Area Business Development
Manager to continue our growth in our facilities maintenance and janitorial services business in the Greater Portland area.

In this role, you’ll be the face of Casco Bay — developing new business relationships, meeting with clients on-site, and providing tailored cleaning solutions that keep their facilities running smoothly.

• Develop new business by building relationships with decision-makers in sectors such as Retail, Warehousing, Industrial, Class-A Offices, Banking, Healthcare, Hospitality, Multifamily, Senior Living, and Commercial
• Actively prospect and generate leads to expand the client base within your assigned territory
• Meet with clients to understand their cleaning and janitorial service needs and present the right solutions
• Conduct site visits and prepare pricing estimates and proposals
• Negotiate contract terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new accounts
• Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities and client interactions
• Build lasting relationships by ensuring customer satisfaction and proactively addressing any issues

• Proven experience in outside or field sales
  , ideally within facility services, janitorial, building maintenance, or environmental services
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills — someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting clients, and growing business accounts
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally (within ~2 hours of Portland, ME)
