Position Overview

As a Parts Counter Associate, you’ll work directly with customers and service technicians to efficiently sell, source, and manage automotive parts. You’ll handle both walk-in and phone inquiries, ensure accurate transactions, and provide clear communication on availability and timelines, helping keep our service and sales operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys helping customers and technicians get the right parts promptly.

You’ll Do
  • Assist retail, wholesale, and service customers with parts inquiries and purchases
  • Pull parts from inventory and process orders for pickup, delivery, or shipment
  • Order non-stock and special-order parts as needed
  • Support service technicians in sourcing repair parts efficiently
  • Suggest companion parts, specials, and product offerings when appropriate
  • Communicate clearly on pricing, availability, and estimated arrival times
  • Maintain accuracy and organization in all transactions
Who You Are
  • 1+ year of automotive parts experience preferred
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented
  • Comfortable working with parts systems and computers
  • Strong communicator with excellent organization and follow-up skills
  • Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Prior experience in automotive parts or automotive retail preferred
