Description

The Senior Administrative Coordinator oversees the administrative, financial, and operational functions of the Interprofessional Simulation and Innovation Center (ISIC), ensuring efficient support for simulation-based education, accreditation, and institutional initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director, this role serves as a central liaison between faculty, staff, students, vendors, and institutional partners.

The anticipated salary for this position is $46,500.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily administrative operations and office management tasks.
  • Develop and maintain filing, documentation, and electronic record systems.
  • Maintain departmental databases and generate reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Process financial transactions, track expenditures, and assist with budget monitoring.
  • Manage Standardized Patient time sheets and related documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage ISIC scheduling requests, equipment borrow requests, and tour/Open House requests throughout the academic year.
  • Manage simulation center vendor contracts.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for ISIC purchase cards and departmental budgets.
  • Coordinate, track, and report travel expenses for the ISIC team.
  • Prepare, track, and monitor invoices.
  • Organize meetings, events, and departmental activities.
  • Support accreditation and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with leadership on operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage purchases of inventory and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree in an appropriate discipline plus 3–4 years of relevant clinical, IT, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven abstract analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience using media and information technology.
  • Ability to acquire new skills and learn new techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with academic and technical colleagues.
  • Creativity and adaptability in a changing environment.
  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or higher education operations.
  • Familiarity with simulation-based or healthcare education environments.
