This onsite RN role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 510 W Votaw Street in Portland, IN, with no weekends or holidays required. The RN provides compassionate, patient‑centered care to individuals with behavioral health and addiction needs in an outpatient setting. Key responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, gathering medical histories, performing triage, administering psychiatric and addiction‑related injections, and completing medication prior authorizations.
The RN will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and collaborate closely with Medical Assistants, Therapists, Peer Recovery Coaches, and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Experience in behavioral health is preferred but not required.
- Room patients, obtain vitals, gather medical histories, perform triage, administer psychiatric and addiction‑related injections, and complete medication prior authorizations.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Medical Assistants, Therapists, Peer Recovery Coaches, and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Provide patient-centered care to individuals with behavioral health and addiction needs in an outpatient setting.
- Commit to a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. with no weekends or holidays required.
- Maintain required licenses and certifications; additional unit/department certifications may be required.
- Requires an Associate s Degree in Nursing (ASN);
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: candidates without a nationally accredited degree may be considered if they have more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to Chief Nursing Officer review and approval.
- Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department.
- May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
