• Monday – Friday every week
  • 6:30am to 3:30pm
  • No weekends

  • The normal setting for this job is our Landfill in Portland, IN.

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment; maintain accurate records.
  • Move and position raw materials and finished components using material‑moving equipment.
  • Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Be over 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

• Work independently while taking accountability for adhering to safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively and support colleagues.
• Solve problems independently.

• Use motor coordination with finger dexterity (e.g., machine operation) most of the workday.
• Exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds occasionally.
• Be exposed to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, or toxic chemicals rarely.
• Be exposed to physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.
