LocationBall Memorial in Muncie, IN. This location is based inside of the hospital and provides both IP and OP therapy services. There may be opportunities for candidates to split time between OP locations in Muncie and Portland to increase their hours if interested.
ShiftThis is a PRN position currently with the potential to work towards Part-Time or Full-Time in the future.

Physical therapist assistants provide direct patient care and selected physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. PTA's assist in the clinical education of physical therapy students and clinical supervision of physical therapist assistant students as well as provide guidance and supervision for support personnel. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
There is a great team of therapists in this facility with many opportunities to learn from colleagues.
- Experience in treating neurological and orthopedic conditions is preferred but not required.
- Outpatient experience required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Adaptable to fast paced settings.

- Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program, or if foreign trained, graduation from an assistant physical therapist education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
- Requires certification as an Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Indiana.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
