Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatrics position in California requiring pediatric, adult Med Surg, and telemetry experience.
Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital pediatric unit with care responsibilities for both pediatric and adult Med Surg patients

• 12-hour day shifts with typical scheduling of 36 hours per week

• Every other weekend work required

• Must have telemetry experience

• 13-week assignment

• Meditech EMR experience preferred

• Care for both pediatric and adult Med Surg patients as assigned

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

• First-time travelers will be considered

• Team-oriented environment with expectations to float within skill set
Requirements

• Active California RN license required

• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric and adult Med Surg experience

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

• Telemetry experience required

• NIHSS certification preferred

• Meditech EMR experience preferred

• Prior permanent staff at this health system not accepted as travelers

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
