Charge Nurse All Shifts; RN or LVN

Job Summary

We are seeking Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for full‑time and part‑time shifts at Coronado Care Center, 1604 W 18th St, Portales, NM 88130. Competitive wages, flexible schedule and a $2,000 sign‑on bonus are offered.

• Graduate of an approved LVN or RN program in the state of practice or holds a multi‑state license.
• Prefer two years of experience in long‑term care but will work with new graduates.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident and members of the healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition.
• Monitors assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed.
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.
