* Position Overview:

** We are seeking a detail-oriented
** Quality Technician
** to ensure the highest quality standards in our ultra precision optics production. This
** 1st shift role
** is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, consistency, and meaningful collaboration with both customers and suppliers and can be productive in an off-shift.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* · Inspect and clean precision optical components using established procedures
· Utilize precision measuring equipment to qualify parts
· Perform dimensional and surface metrology using standard measurement equipment and advanced systems, Including:
Profilometer, Interferometers, Other optical precision measurement equipment
· Interpret and apply basic blueprint reading skills for inspection
· Train and teach suppliers on internal quality standards and expectations
· Engage in direct customer interactions regarding quality matters
· Handle sensitive optical materials with care and precision
· Sit for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks
· Travel occasionally to vendor sites for audits and support

* Required Qualifications:

*
* • Minimum of Three (3) years of experience in a quality, inspection, metrology, similar manufacturing role, or equivalent experience.  
• Strong understanding of quality systems and standards, including ISO and internal quality procedures.  
• Experience working with optical components and precision-manufactured parts preferred.  
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.  
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within defined responsibilities.  
• Ability to use relevant computer applications: MS Office, MS Outlook.  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
• Ability to read and understand both optical and traditional blueprints.  
• Must have strong attention to detail.## PAY RANGE•  $22-$28/hr. based on experience·
