We are looking for students, parents, and adults who can serve as school custodians at the Portage Public Schools. The position is a full‑time, after‑school role that involves maintaining school buildings and ensuring a safe, clean environment for students and staff.
Who are we looking for?Are you 18 years of age or older with a valid possess the following traits?

Due to Michigan public schools requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug‑related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.
When and Where is the job located?- Monday - Friday
- Full Time
- 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
- Portage Public Schools
- Building Lead
Core Responsibilities:- Train new hires how to clean buildings
- Confirm and communicate staffing
- Customer check‑ins
- Ensure quality: check work, walk‑downs, daily pictures
- Secure the building
$16.50 per hour.

- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Other cleaning tasks as assigned
