Position SummaryMichigan CAT Service Leader has the important task of managing and leading a team of technicians within the shop, primarily overseeing the Heavy Equipment Shop. In addition to leadership responsibilities, you are expected to perform as one of the most technical mechanics at the shop.
Description Position SummaryMichigan CAT Service Leader has the important task of managing and leading a team of technicians within the shop, primarily overseeing the Heavy Equipment Shop. In addition to leadership responsibilities, you are expected to perform as one of the most technical mechanics at the shop.
ResponsibilitiesTo be considered for the Michigan CAT Service Leader position, you should have:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Heavy Equipment/Construction Equipment repair experience.
- 3-5 years of Diesel Engine diagnosis and repair experience.
- High motivation and ability to learn new tasks, processes, and policies.
- Maturity to manage your own time and work with minimal supervision, while also being capable of working in a team environment.
- Experience using CAT ET or similar electronic diagnostics tools.
- Experience writing detailed service reports on customer equipment.
- High School Diploma or Vocational College degree in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Repair, or Welding Technology.
