Help Desk​/Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Portage, Michigan. In this role, you will provide essential IT support to ensure smooth operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist users with their technology needs. This position requires a proactive individual capable of handling diverse tasks and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

- Operate the IT Help Desk, addressing and resolving support tickets efficiently to minimize downtime.

- Configure and set up new hardware and software for users, ensuring proper functionality.

- Provide basic training and guidance to users to enhance their understanding of IT systems.

- Collaborate on project-based tasks as directed by the IT Director to support organizational goals.

- Monitor and manage the antivirus server and patch management systems to ensure all devices are secure and up to date.

- Utilize remote control software to deliver support to personnel across various locations.

- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for IT processes and department operations.

- Stay informed on industry trends by attending webinars, conferences, and educational sessions.

- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned to support the department's needs. Requirements - Proficiency in Active Directory and Windows 10.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues efficiently.

- Familiarity with Windows and service desk ticket management.

- Experience with Linux and VPN technologies, including virtual private networks.

- Knowledge of network printers and their configurations.

- Understanding of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for patch management.

- Competence in supporting Apple iOS devices.
