- Complete physical installations and removals of structured cabling components, cabinets, and pathway systems(cable trays).
- Move equipment, racks, and related communications infrastructure materials.
- Perform installation and service of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling, communication equipment and other various low voltage systems such as Category 3, Category 5, Enhanced Category 5, Category 6, and Fiber Optic Structured Cable Distribution Systems.
- Perform upgrades and additions to cabling infrastructure systems in order to increase functionality and usability.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems and perform repairs as necessary.
- Complete required documentation in a variety of written and electronic formats according to company standards.
- Set-up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices(routers, printers, etc.) Check computer hardware(HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.
- Support company Network Engineer.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent and/or combination of related experience.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, courteous and friendly demeanor.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
Hours:
8:00am-4:30pm
