Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacturer, has an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician for a 12-month contract

Hours:
Sunday-Friday 10p-6:30a
Develops programs, fixturing, and data for manufacturing pieces of equipment. Communicates with engineering team to complete and validate programs and fixtures in order to develop processes. Supports engineering in documentation drafting
Key Responsibilities- Providing technical support to engineers and scientists across a range of tasks.
- Developing and recommending methods and procedures to improve product and process quality.
- Preparing technical documentation and reports for internal records and compliance.
- Performing root cause analyses on technical issues or failures and recommending corrective actions.
- Developing programs and fixturing for manufacturing equipment.
- Communicating with engineering teams to validate and improve fixtures and programs.
- Supporting engineering in drafting and updating process and technical documentation.
- Collaborating across functions in support of product development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical, testing, or troubleshooting role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow complex procedures and work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for documenting and presenting technical information.
- Familiarity with technical equipment and tools used in testing processes.
- Experience in the medical device industry or a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical reporting is a plus.
