Production Manager
Under the direction of the Site Director, the Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Thermoforming and Extrusion departments during their assigned shift. This role ensures production goals are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and employee performance. The Production Supervisor will lead shift employees, coordinate production activities, and support continuous improvement efforts to meet operational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

- Consistently and safely operate thermoforming machines at or above standard levels of operation including safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization.
- Commitment to deliver according to planned schedule and keep production planning updated on actual delivery situation
- Must be able to manage quality and raw material on the Thermoformer as well as support the team during rest and meal breaks.
- Recognizes product defects and initiates adjustments or repairs to equipment to make corrections.
- Responsible for all shift production employees and equipment in their department.
- Troubleshoot new jobs and optimize current operations.
- Works in cooperation to keep the machine stocked and running, supporting in ways that will help increase safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Assists lower-level operators in solving quality and production problems.
- Reports recurring defects and deficiencies with the production schedule, product, and machine to management.
- Works to provide a safe and clean work environment for co-workers.
- Ability to work closely with other team members and assist others in interrelated tasks as needed or as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Plastic industry experience is a requirement. Thermoforming experience is preferred. 5 + years of plastics experience is preferred.
