Responsibilites:

• Operate mobile equipment including Fork Lift and Sweeper unit as required to conduct routine responsibilities of classification.
• Perform janitorial duties to maintain office, restrooms, operating units of facility and outside
  • areas in a clean and sanitary condition at all times; request cleaning and other supplies through Plant Manager's office as needed; remove garbage and debris daily to disposal units; assist Operators and Transportation Technicians in cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment and facility.
• Perform the following operating duties:

Operate oxide grinding mill and bagging machines.

Load oxide bags and remove to storage bins or into trucks for shipment.

Assist in loading or unloading operating, maintenance or construction materials and supplies delivered to plant.

Perform other related operating support functions.

• Assist and support Maintenance Technicians in emergency and other projects by performing routine tasks including changing valves, pump repair, lubricating equipment and other activities within the incumbents' capabilities to avoid downtime, interruption of services to customers, and continuous operation of plant.
• Complete work status and other reporting requirements to inform management as to status of daily and ongoing tasks and or to report safety or other problems observed.

Union Pay Rate: $26.01 per hour
