What you'll be doing:
NI Precision is seeking a detail-driven and commercially minded Sales Administrator to support our Sales function within the precision engineering sector. This role is critical to ensuring accurate data, smooth quoting processes, and reliable customer information, enabling the Sales team to focus on winning and delivering high-quality work.
You’ll be the backbone of our sales operations – keeping systems tidy, quotes moving, and information accurate.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & MRP Administration
- Accurate entry and maintenance of sales data within our MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system
- Ensuring customer, pricing, and job data is kept up to date and audit-ready
- Supporting the Sales Manager with day-to-day sales administration
- Cleansing, maintaining, and improving the quality of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data
- Ensuring customer records, contacts, and opportunities are accurate and current
- Supporting reporting and pipeline visibility through clean data
- Assisting with RFQ (Request for Quote) administration to enable timely and accurate quoting
- Sourcing information on new or unusual materials, coatings, and processes
- Liaising internally and externally to gather technical or commercial inputs for quotes
Essential
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with CRM systems and high-volume data entry
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a technical sales environment
- Exposure to MRP/ERP systems
- Familiarity with quoting or RFQ processes
- An interest in engineering, materials, or manufacturing processes
- Methodical, accurate, and process-driven
- Curious and proactive when sourcing information
- Comfortable working with technical data (you don’t need to be an engineer, but willing to learn)
- A team player who can also work independently
