The Role:

Shift Support Engineer We are looking for a motivated Shift Support Engineer to work alongside the Shift Engineer in supporting all aspects of plant, facility, and asset maintenance. This role plays a key part in driving Operational Excellence, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity. You will receive full company training and guidance, with the opportunity to develop into a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Support Engineer Support the Shift Engineer to ensure production equipment operates efficiently and reliably. Carry out servicing and maintenance of site machinery. Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities. Respond to machine breakdowns and support root cause analysis (RCA). Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records. Actively support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Promote and lead a strong safety-first culture at all times.

Key Requirements:

Shift Support Engineer Apprentice-trained preferred. Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline is essential.

Experience with in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly advantageous. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is beneficial.

Experience with computer-controlled systems is beneficial.
