Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, financial analysis and insight to support business performance. While experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, it is not essential. This role will suit a hands-on Management Accountant who enjoys working closely with operational and non-finance stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial control, reporting and decision-making across the business. Support to Finance Director and Senior Leadership Team to:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting and periodic reforecasting processes
* Provide detailed cost, margin and profitability analysis
* Partner with operational teams to support cost control and performance improvement
* Support product costing and standard costing processes where applicable
* Deliver financial analysis and commentary to support operational and commercial decisions
* Support month-end close, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
* Improve reporting processes, controls and financial data quality
* Assist with audit requirements and adherence to financial policies and procedures
* Present clear, concise financial information to non-finance stakeholders

Education / Experience:

* Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or qualified by experience)
* Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
* Manufacturing or operational finance experience desirable but not essential
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial data
