VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and reputable organisation based in Portadown, as they recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 12-month contract.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, financial analysis and insight to support business performance. While experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, it is not essential. This role will suit a hands‑on Management Accountant who enjoys working closely with operational and non-finance stakeholders.

The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial control, reporting and decision‑making across the business.

Support to Finance Director and Senior Leadership Team to:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and periodic reforecasting processes
• Provide detailed cost, margin and profitability analysis
• Partner with operational teams to support cost control and performance improvement
• Support product costing and standard costing processes where applicable
• Deliver financial analysis and commentary to support operational and commercial decisions
• Support month‑end close, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
• Improve reporting processes, controls and financial data quality
  
  Assist with audit requirements and adherence to financial policies and procedures
• Present clear, concise financial information to non-finance stakeholders

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or qualified by experience)
• Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
• Manufacturing or operational finance experience desirable but not essential
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial data
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills
