Responsible for planning and overseeing a wide variety of control system projects; from proposal generation through closeout. Coordinates internal and external personnel to complete projects on time and under budget. Undertakes small to medium projects or assists with managing larger projects under the direction of a more senior project manager. Works with technical staff and seeks guidance from experienced project leads, the company directors, and principals.

Responsible for maintaining the project schedule, communicating changes to the team, managing expectations with the client, and working with the Project Controller to accurately price scheduling changes. This role will also support the Project Controller in their duties.

• Bachelor of Science or relevant experience.
• Typically, 3-5 years of technical experience with exposure to project management.

• Provide weekly updates to project team and client regarding schedule.
• Assist Project Controller with schedule change pricing.
• Work with client and project team to ensure the schedule is achievable while satisfying client expectations.
• Assist Project Controller with weekly reporting requirements.
• Assist Project Controller in their duties with the intention to cross-train.
• Excellent field experience and understands the roles of associated trades.
• Shows initiative by seeking out new responsibilities.
• Builds relationships with customers and contractors.
• Understands how to work within contracting tiers.
• Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office tools.
• Demonstrate the ability to assist other project members during system installation and commissioning.
• Understands basic control system design and how it interfaces with other systems.
• Gain basic understanding of electrical and mechanical system design and how decisions can impact process and safety.
• Practice procedures outlined in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) daily.
• Demonstrate the ability to proof‑read self‑generated documentation.
• Consistently champions safety policies in the office and the field.
• Has an open mind, especially with opposing viewpoints.
