Overview
Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a skilled and organized Certified Medical Assistant or LPN to join our new Specialty Clinics team. The Specialty Clinics MA supports Urology, Wound, Obstetrics, and Surgical Services. Our Medical Assistants and LPNs play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and in delivering an exceptional experience for our patients.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through visits with professionalism and empathy.
- Directly support physicians, nurses, and the administrative team to contribute to efficiency and quality of care.
- Assist with clinical tasks such as recording vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, administering injections and vaccinations, and maintaining organized records in the electronic medical record system.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Current Washington State certification in good standing; MA-C or LPN required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Two years of experience preferred
- Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications, and licenses required and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements
- Experienced MAs or LPNs and new grads welcome
