The Patient Experience Specialist is a key role dedicated to fostering a culture of patient-centered care at Jefferson Healthcare. This position provides professional expertise, coaching, and guidance to employees, healthcare providers, and leadership to support the organization’s mission of earning the community’s trust and improving its health.
The Specialist is focused on implementing changes that drive positive patient experiences, enhance employee engagement, and improve patient outcomes. This role addresses all interactions and touchpoints across the continuum of care, including the spaces in between, to ensure alignment and seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within the workplace, serving as a champion for initiatives that elevate the patient experience and support Jefferson Healthcare’s commitment to excellence.

- Minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health administration, organizational development, public health, or another related field required.
- Experience with change management, and lean six sigma principles working in a complex, integrated health system preferred.
- License/Certification – Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington is strongly preferred.
- Certified patient experience professional (CPXP) preferred.

- The base salary range for this position reflects both market competitiveness and the full compensation potential for the role. Individual offers will be determined based on a candidate’s qualifications and experience beyond the stated minimum requirements. In most cases, compensation will fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Placement above the midpoint will be reserved for candidates whose qualifications significantly exceed the minimum requirements.
Salary: $60,048 - $90,072 per year
