Cake Decorator

Hugo’s Family Marketplace has immediate opportunities for Full Time and Part Time Cake Decorator at our Fosston location.

This position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, as we are willing to provide training to the right candidate. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes that meet our customers' expectations. Opportunities to grow and advance within the company. Salary Range: $14.00 to $17.00/hr (based on experience)

Decorate cakes according to customer preferences, themes, and specifications.

Use various tools and techniques to apply icing, fondant, and other decorative elements.

Create aesthetically pleasing designs, including but not limited to flowers, figures, and intricate patterns.

Interact with customers to understand their cake decoration requirements and preferences.

Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction with the final product.

Offer creative suggestions and solutions based on customer needs.

Maintain high standards of quality in cake decoration, ensuring that all products meet the company's guidelines.

Follow food safety and hygiene practices to guarantee the safety and well-being of customers.

Monitor and manage inventory of decorating supplies and ingredients.

Communicate with the management team to ensure that necessary supplies are ordered in a timely manner.

Participate in training sessions to enhance cake decorating skills and stay updated on industry trends.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and styles in cake decoration.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning decorating tools and equipment.

Follow established sanitation and cleanliness protocols to meet health and safety standards.

Work collaboratively with other team members, including bakers and sales staff, to ensure seamless coordination in fulfilling customer orders.

No Prior Experience

Required:
