Position is Overtime Eligible!

Shifts Available
  • Day Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (½‑hour unpaid lunch)
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (½‑hour unpaid lunch)
  • Night Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am (½‑hour unpaid lunch)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Must be willing and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in Florida.
  • Must be willing and able to work a schedule that is inclusive of weekends and holidays.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Successful completion of the employment screening process, including a national background investigation and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a 120‑bed skilled long‑term care nursing facility.
  • Possess a current CPR card.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Position Description
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, hair and nail care, shaving, toileting, meals, routine transportation, and mobility.
  • Follow facility established policies and procedures when providing all care and dining room protocol.
  • Routinely observe, identify, and report resident concerns or needs to supervisor.
  • Provide escort to resident appointments when required.
  • Complete assignments timely, completely, and accurately.
  • Accept assigned duties cooperatively.
  • Perform restorative nursing measures as outlined in the care plan.
  • Perform simple nursing measures such as applying splints, positioning devices, making occupied and unoccupied beds, and changing linens.
  • Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
  • Measure and record intake and output according to the care plan.
  • Observe, monitor, and report symptoms of potential skin breakdown or pressure ulcers to primary nurses.
  • Use appropriate techniques for mechanical lifts, transferring, turning, and positioning, range‑of‑motion exercises, recognizing changes that place a resident at risk for pressure ulcers and falls.
  • Provide appropriate end‑of‑life care.
  • Respond to cognitively impaired residents or residents with difficult behaviors including dementia or Alzheimer’s.
  • Observe conditions and report behavioral changes to primary nurse or RN supervisor.
  • Ensure all resident safety devices are used as outlined in the care plan.
  • Document all care given on the appropriate form or electronic patient care documentation system.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents.
  • Ensure efficient use of supplies and documents in the electronic inventory tracking system.
  • Respond to residents’ requests and needs timely and appropriately.
  • Answer resident call lights promptly.
  • Notify the nurse of any changes in the resident’s condition.
  • Complete assignments from the primary nurse or RN supervisor within the allowable time.
  • Attend all required facility training.
  • Perform related work as required.
