Overview

Select Physical Therapy is currently hiring a PRN Injury Prevention-Work Strategies Specialist in a clinic setting. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, COTA, or individual of a similar background. New hire to perform job-specific testing (POET) approximately 15 hours/week. Working directly with a physical therapist. Must be highly organized and complete reports in a timely and accurate fashion.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00, hourly, based on years of experience

  • Prepare and complete appropriate documentation for services
  • Regular communication with both client and Select leadership
  • Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
  • Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
  • Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
  • Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
  • CPR certification
  • Strong knowledge of lifting body mechanics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in testing protocols
