Hourly Rate: $18.23

- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be fluent in the English language: reading, writing, speaking.
- Must have basic skills in the use of Microsoft Office Outlook and Word.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Experience working in a Nursing Home;
Medicaid/Medicare eligibility or insurance processes. - Successful completion of the employment screening process to include, but not limited to, a national background investigation and drug test.
- Formal Education, bachelor’s degree.
Direct experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis. - Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care/120-bed skilled nursing facility.
- Works under the supervision of the Business Office Manager.
- Complete and submit Medicaid applications.
- Provide knowledge of Medicaid benefits to families and residents.
- Assist in the admissions process as needed.
- Provide tours of the facility for prospective residents and families.
- Assist with documentation gathering, faxing, and copying.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is in the Other Personal Services (Temporary) system.
