Physical Therapist

Description

• Evaluate and deliver appropriate care to patients with a variety of orthopaedic diagnoses.
• Restore patients’ function, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.
• Devise detailed treatment and care plans for each of the patients.
• Communicate and coordinate with patients’ physicians to ensure a consistent level of care.
• Exercise independent judgment based on experience to implement effective treatment combinations.
• Evaluate and report on patients’ progress.
• Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries.
• Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations.

• Minimum 2 years of professional PT experience required with emphasis on Outpatient Orthopaedics preferred.
• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
• Basic computer skills required.
• CPR training preferred.
