Job Summary And QualificationsThe HCA Health
ONE Air Life EMS team is a premier pre-hospital medical transport program located in Denver, Colorado. The Air Life EMS team operates a fleet of ground ambulances to care for and transport ill or injured patients throughout the Rocky Mountain region. Air Life includes a dedicated communication center that responds to and manages requests for medical transport across all modes of services.
In coordination with Air Life's Critical Care team, which offers rotor and fixed-wing transport, and our vast fleet, our teams can provide an integrated transport system with the appropriate clinical care and transport type to any agency or facility that needs medical transport. Here is some of what you can expect from being a Captain with us:
- You will solve problems with the crew and crisis management.
- You will have Interagency requests or disputes (Fire department, hospital, etc.)
- You will last minute scheduling requests and coverage
- You will Coordination of operational shift needs (stocking, training, etc.)
- You will report of momentous events or occurrences needing follow up
- You will ensure a safe working environment for providers.
- You will shift paperwork needs – daily shift log, vehicle accident logs, work injury reports, incident reports, etc.
- You will keep the Chief Paramedic up to date on issues, needs, and status of their shift.
- Driver License
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintains an Insurable driving record.
- Current Colorado State Paramedic Certification or License.
- Colorado State EMD certification is preferred
- Current ACLS.
- Current National Registry…
