Overview
Required:
Master’s degree in reading instruction OR advanced reading certification (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent). Onsite locations:
Phoenix (Scottsdale), AZ;
Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX;
Plano, TX;
Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico. Salary: $100,000 per year ($50/hour), with weekly pay. Health, dental, and vision benefits begin on day one. Relocation assistance provided.
- Executing focused reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency capabilities
- Creating individualized motivational experiences through gamified literacy achievement markers
- Reviewing student performance data to refine teaching methods and identify actionable patterns
- Partnering with engineers to assess and improve AI literacy platforms informed by classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-integrated content that supports early elementary learners in reaching grade-level reading proficiency
- Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to traditional curriculum frameworks—academic subjects are taught via AI-adaptive applications
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master’s degree in reading instruction
- At least 2 years of experience conducting small-group reading interventions for K–2 students
- Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without relying on pre-written curricula
- Experience with AI/adaptive learning tools and ability to respond to student behaviors within these platforms
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
