We are seeking a highly driven and technically strong Accounting Manager to join our growing CPG organization in Florida. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring GAAP compliance, and supporting revenue operations in a fast‑paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will bring a Big 4 or Big 8 public accounting foundation, hold an active CPA, and possess hands‑on experience within the CPG industry, including deep expertise in trade deductions, revenue recognition, and B2B collections.

Experience with Net Suite ERP is required. This role offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to help scale processes in a growth‑oriented environment.

  • Salary for the role is $120k-$150k (Range varies on level of experience)#accounting
Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Close
  • Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
  • Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and account analysis
  • Support external audits and serve as a key point of contact for auditors
Revenue & Trade Accounting
  • Oversee revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606
  • Manage trade promotions, deductions, and chargebacks (billbacks, markdowns, slotting fees, etc.)
  • Analyze gross‑to‑net revenue adjustments and ensure appropriate reserves
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to improve visibility and accuracy around trade spend
B2B Collections & AR Oversight
  • Oversee B2B collections processes across key retail and distribution partners
  • Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of deductions and disputes
  • Strengthen internal controls around receivables and deduction management
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Utilize Net Suite ERP to enhance reporting, controls, and efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements within accounting operationsli>
  • Support automation initiatives and scalability efforts as the company grows
Leadership
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff
  • Promote accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, FP&A, and Operations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Active CPA license required
  • Big 4 or Big 8 public accounting background required
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Direct experience within the CPG industry
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Trade deductions and promotional accounting
    • Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
    • B2B collections and chargeback management
  • Hands‑on experience with Net Suite ERP (required)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment
