- You will install, repair, and test commodes, urinals, lavatories, tubs, and fire sprinkler systems.
- You will repair or replace flushometers, temperature control regulating valves, and mixing valves.
- You will install traps at proper places.
- You will cut, bend, thread, and assemble pipe and fittings using various types of shop machinery and equipment.
- You will maintain swimming pool, including filters, pumps, and chlorination.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You are required to POSSESS and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You are required possess or be able to obtain and maintain an approved certificate as an Asbestos Operations and Maintenance worker.
- You are required to obtain and maintain a military vehicle operator's permit.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You are required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- You will frequently lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to 40 pounds.
