Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist I to join a leading diagnostic laboratory team in Port Royal. The role involves performing various specimen collections and providing superior customer service to patients.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• 1-2 years of recent phlebotomy experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with all age groups from pediatric to geriatric.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with 25 patient draws per day.

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

In diagnostic laboratory with normal hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Royal, SC.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $18.75/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Port Royal,SC.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 8, 2026.
