THE CHURH AND THE POSITION:
FCC is a vibrant and growing community church leading into the future of the Kingdom with Jesus. As a community that builds community, we are committed to working together with other churches, dedicated to teaching and following Jesus, we strive to launch innovative ideas towards Kingdom growth, and are excited to love the community well through service, eating together, and discipling.
To do this well, however, we are now looking for a talented, ambitious, and Jesus loving Worship Leader, who loves community, and is joyfully excited about reaching the lost, the seeking, and the churched alike through worship and creative media.
As our worship lead, you will be given a lot of leeway to follow Gods call in your life. We want you express your heart for Jesus, the Kingdom, and community… and we want to help you do that. But as in every position, there is of course some job expectations….
Worship Lead Expectations:- Cultivate a Christ-centered community by providing spiritual care and encouragement.
- Develop new leaders and team members with a heart for worship and Jesus.
- Create a fun atmosphere
- Work to build unity with the multiple churches here on campus.
- Plan, organize, and be an enthusiastic presence for leading worship for our weekend gatherings.
- Work closely with the lead pastor to develop elements of the service that will flow into a cohesive message and response.
- Stay current with new song selections, technologies and worship expressions.
- Schedule teams, distribute music, work with Pro Presenter.
- Oversee the visual elements of the service.
- Develop a ministry plan and budget to utilize creative expressions for worship while managing resources.
- Must live a life that demonstrates an intimate and growing relationship with Christ.
- Must be committed to the vision and values of FCC and its leadership.
- Must be committed to a lifetime of learning and growth.
- Advanced level of musical competency
- Able to play at least one instrument, preferably acoustic guitar or keys.
Pay: $1,500 month or negotiable
