• Operate various pieces of heavy equipment accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Cleanup around the plant and surrounding area, including cutting grass, weed control, landscape maintenance, snow plowing/salting at all HMA locations, and building maintenance such as painting, power washing, and small plumbing repairs. This is a year‑round position, so working outdoors in different weather conditions is required.
• Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment.
• Care for and maintain your equipment.
• Follow directions.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Strict adherence to safety requirements, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) policies.
• At least a chauffeur’s license, clean driving record, and drug‑free to drive company truck; at least 3‑5 years of experience in landscaping, snow plowing, and some handyman knowledge.

• Fabricating and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and fill out routine paperwork.

• Time spent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and sitting.

• Outdoors on a job site in extreme weather conditions.
