Why This Role Is DifferentThis isn’t facility-based care.
This isn’t juggling multiple patients per shift.
As a Weekend Home Care LPN, you’ll provide one-on-one, high-quality care in a private home setting. You’ll have the time and focus to deliver thoughtful, hands‑on nursing care — without the chaos of hospital floors or long‑term care ratios.
This is consistent, relationship‑based nursing with a predictable weekend schedule.
Schedule- Friday: 8:00am–8:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am–8:00pm
- Sunday: 8:00am–8:00pm
- 36 hours per week
A set weekend schedule means you know exactly when you’re working — and when you’re off.
Compensation- $28/hour + $2/hour weekend differential
Consistent hours. No rotating shifts.
What Your Days Look LikeYou’ll provide skilled nursing care directly in the home environment, including:
- Assessing patient health status
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
- Educating patients and families on care plans and safety
- Coordinating with physicians and other providers
- Documenting care accurately in the EHR
- Supporting independence, safety, and dignity

You’re an experienced LPN who values relationship‑based care, prefers focused one‑on‑one patient time, and wants a steady weekend schedule without facility‑level stress.
The (Required) QualificationsWe’d love to welcome everyone — but to practice safely and legally, we do need:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active, unrestricted State of Michigan LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
This position requires the ability to provide hands‑on care in a home setting. Duties include standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, lifting, positioning, and assisting with mobility and activities of daily living.
Additional requirements include:
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to use proper body mechanics and safety techniques
- Visual and auditory acuity for patient assessment and communication
- Ability to operate clinical tools and computer systems
- Reliable transportation for occasional travel (you will not transport clients)
