Clinical Policy & Practice - Nursing Excellence - Full Time - Days Responsibilities
- Facilitates the monthly Patient Care and Nursing policy and procedure committee, or as needed.
- Facilitates data entry and generate reports for the National Database for Nursing Indicators (NDNQI). NDNQI is a national database that provides unit-level reports regarding nurse sensitive indicators to measure the quality of nursing care, and strongly supports the HFJH Magnet Journey.
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Must have the ability to understand clinical practice and standards of nursing care, and keep abreast of changing regulatory and accreditation requirements to ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines remain current and accurate.
Must possess basic project management skills in order to gather the required information, drafting documents, revising documents as needed, obtaining appropriate approvals, and maintaining databases and historical files preferred.
Licensure / Certification Required- Current Licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Professional Certifications to support a culture of nursing excellence preferred.
