Description
Keeps plants in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. This position is part time, weekday, and day shift hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Sweeps, mops, and scrubs around all presses and machinery in production areas, shipping/receiving areas, toolroom, restrooms, hallways, and office spaces
- Collects and disposes of trash and recycling throughout the plants
- Maintains restrooms by cleaning and restocking
- Cleans and sanitizes surfaces such as doors, tables, and horizontal surfaces
- Cleans snow and debris from walkways and picks up debris from all exterior property
- Maintains stock of janitorial supplies
- Maintains equipment by moving and arranging furniture for cleaning
- Washes windows, inside and out, weather permitting
- May work in other areas of either plant based on production requirements
- May be required to work off shifts as needed
- Other duties may be assigned
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
