Overview
Custodian I (part-time) – Port Huron, Michigan
Responsibilities- Perform general custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, and restocking paper and soap supplies in bathrooms, offices, entrances, classrooms, and hallways.
- Maintain custodial equipment and supplies to ensure functionality and longevity; follow safety protocols and use appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Promptly report fire, sanitary, and safety hazards and repair needs to the immediate supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google apps, and facilities management software; strong computer literacy.
- Ability to understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues.
