Overview

Custodian I (part-time) – Port Huron, Michigan

• Perform general custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, and restocking paper and soap supplies in bathrooms, offices, entrances, classrooms, and hallways.
• Maintain custodial equipment and supplies to ensure functionality and longevity; follow safety protocols and use appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Promptly report fire, sanitary, and safety hazards and repair needs to the immediate supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google apps, and facilities management software; strong computer literacy.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues.
